Competing with other architects in the Barefoot Resort project, such as Fazio, Norman and Dye, Love was determined to build a course that was unique, visually striking and fun to play. The Love Course was ranked #6 Best New Upscale Public Course in America-2000 by Golf Digest and most recently Golf Digest rated #38- ÒAmericaÕs 100 Greatest Public Courses- 2005-2006 and #1 Top 50 Courses in Myrtle Beach.
